lucky ones. Growing up in North Carolina  and the Outer Banks gave  me the appreciation to surf and travel around the world ,
In 1980 at COUNTRY SURFBOARDS in Hawaii, learning to build surfboards has allowed me live a dream and continue to redefine my shaping through custom boards and refined with the use of APS 3000/AKU SHAPEING MACHINE.  OLD SCHOOL + NEW SCHOOL + COMPUTER AGE = ONE HELL OF A RIDE.

I have personelly shaped boards for ESA and United States Champions, and spent years with former Carolinas champion Chris Powers, I have shaped sailboards for members of the BIC racing team and designed one of the early knee boards that became a top world wide seller. My brother shapes his own line of boards PRO LINE (glasseed  at WRIGHTSVILLE GLASSING) which have been slotted in the gnarliest places on earth and come back for another day. The surfing lifestyle is a family affair and in our blood.
